What is the difference between a Lead and an Account?
Often leads and accounts in Ad Sales Genius can be confused. Read below to understand the difference and how a lead can become an account.
LEAD:
A lead in Ad Sales Genius is defined as any potential business that a sales rep is prospecting. A lead will not have any signed contracts nor will it have any accounting history.
ACCOUNT:
An account is created when a lead when a proposal is set to won in the system.
An electronic signature will automatically set the contract to won. Users can also manually set the contract to won to convert a lead to an account. Watch the demo below to learn how to manually set a contract to won.

It is important to note that once a lead is converted to an account, it can not be undone. Meaning, an account can not become a lead.
