MARCH 2023 ENHANCEMENTS

We’ve been hard at work these past few weeks improving and adding features to make Ad Sales Genius even more valuable for you! If you’re interested in what’s new, check out our list of improvements below.


Activity Feed Improvements: 
    • Refreshed activity feed and commenting system on the bottom of all account pages.
    • Results load 10x faster with improved searching and filtering!
    • Addition of Discussions feature encourages user collaboration related to any item in the software. 
    • Addition of “Mentions” where a user can now be tagged in any task, discussion or note using the @username.
    • New expansion of Slack integration enabling # to tag a channel in any of the items in a comment feed.
    • Addition of time labels to clearly define what month activity has occurred or if an item has a future item scheduled to be completed.
    • Improved readability of emails!

Update Auto Invoicing: Added in scheduling to allow setting when invoices should auto generate. ie: twice monthly, weekly, daily with skipping frequencies.  NOTE: AUTO INVOICING WILL BE DISABLED UNTIL A SCHEDULE IS SET.


Activity Goals Improvements: 

  • Updated dashboard view.
  • Added copy goal forward to future goals.
  • Added open run sheet button to goal support for: phone calls, emails, appointments and follow-ups, page count totals, discount totals, revenue per page average, insertion counts, hard costs, commission tots.
  • View a top level goal and associated users at the same time.
  • Added in goal support for: phone calls, emails, appointments and follow-ups, page count totals, discount totals, revenue per page average, insertion counts, hard costs, commission totals, average discount, contract counts and invoice net minus hard costs. 
  • New User Group Support to filter goals by a user group.

Advertiser Address Select Box: Updated format and now allows for quick-adding of a new address. Available in key areas such as: contract edit, invoice edit, subscriptions edit, studio ad orders, and workflow assign primary info.


Customs Fields have been updated to allow unlimited fields on any item in the software! Previously, custom fields would have to be enabled to display on tables are no longer required. This update provides speed improvements and reduces load times by up to 95% for tables such as advertisers accounts and others that were using an excessive number of custom fields with a high number of records.Learn more here!


New User Role Assignments and Enhancements:

  • New Sales Manager Assignment: Further specify your sales teams by assigning sales reps to Sales Managers. This will enable sales rep specific notifications to be more narrowly tailored in the case of larger teams.updated user role kb article. 
  • New Sales Assistant Assignment: Assign an assistant to a sales rep to enable the user to edit records on behalf of their assigned sales rep.
  • Updated User Edit: Easier permissions to edit and limit access to different administrative areas of the system. 
  • User Select Boxes: Administrators can quickly add additional users on the fly wherever a User select box is in the system.
  • Updated User Group: Minimal changes but migrated to our new technology infrastructure. Learn more here! 


  • Advertiser Account View: Minor placement and visual adjustments. Added fields: Last Insertion, Last Activity and Last Contract dates on summary view. Added ability to add a task from an advertiser account.
  • Follow ups: Updated to floating windows and integrated into activity feeds and real time data updates. Follow-ups are now supported on agencies. Learn more here!
  • Revised Action Overview: More prominent placement to avoid missed items. Real time data updates supported and improved action support.
  • Contract Templates in settings has been updated and improved with performance optimizations.Learn more here!
  • Account Logos and Account Signatures Have been updated with performance optimizations.
  • Contract Template Select Boxes: Now supports quick adds to minimize going to settings.
  • Product Management Page: Added mass add of issues, added delete a product with no line items, improved permissions enforcements.
  • Classic Products Pages is sunset. All functionality that was found on this page has been added to the New Product Manager. No need to switch back and forth anymore! 
  • Deals: Added default agency discount to copy over when converting a deal to a proposal. A status is now required to be set to save a new deal.
  • New Contract Screen: added agency select to assign an agency to the proposal. Read full KB article.
  • New Shortcuts added to new menu with keyboard commands: Discussions, Notes and Tasks. Learn more here!
  • Mass Emails: You can now check a box when configuring email templates to send the campaign as the advertiser account owner for the from email and name. 
  • Email Importing Sync: You can now add in domains and individual emails to exclude from automatically importing into advertiser accounts.Learn more here!

  • Forecasting: Added ability to filter by user groups under customize button.

  • Statement Blocks: Added in a summary of invoices as well as an invoice aging summary block - additionally there are now settings for how these blocks will operate.

  • Settings: Moved to new tech, searchable and reorganized.

  • Finance Charges: Added the ability to add finance charges in batch action.

  • Imports: Redid imports to utilize new technology, added in previews of columns and wizard style, real time validation.
  • New Quickbooks Locations: Found in settings and under the products themselves.
  • Menu Open Pin Remembers Setting
