Editing Custom Fields

Custom Fields allow you to add an additional, customizable, layer to the system. You can add custom fields for many parts of the software that can be searched for and reported on. Check out this article for how to create custom fields.

In the event that you would like to edit a custom field, Ad Sales Genius makes that process easy! This article will walk you through how to edit existing custom fields.

To edit custom fields:

  1. Click Settings > All Settings using the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Click on the Custom Fields link to see a list of your system's custom fields.

  3. Click on the Edit button next to the custom field you would like to update.

    Here, you can update the name, the display name, whether or not it displays in the search results, and modify or add additional options. 

    If you need to change the type of custom field this is, you will need to recreate this field and delete the errant custom field.

  4. Make your appropriate changes and click the Save button.
