SG - Delete Subscribers by Emails

We know that from time to time you’ll need to remove subscribers from your database.

Instead of removing them one by one, you can simply copy and paste the email address of your subscribers from any export you’ve made from subscription genius.

Let’s say you’ve done an export from subscription genius, for more information on doing this please see our “how to do a general export” tutorial video.

For this example, we’ll be removing subscribers who have zero issues remaining from the system. Within the exported document sort your issues remaining field in ascending order.

We can now see the subscribers with zero issues remaining. Now, copy the desired email address cells of the subscribers you wish to delete. On a mac, this can be done using command C, and on a PC, control C.

Now we’ll go back inside of subscription genius. The email address deletion page can be found under tools, and “delete by email.”

Once on this page, you’ll simply paste the email addresses copied from your excel file, preview your results, scroll to the bottom of your page, and click delete selected subscribers. These subscribers will now be removed from your database. These subscribers will be temporarily stored under the “deleted subscriber” page within the software.
