Creating User Groups

Setting up User Groups is a security measure intended to allow Admin users to determine which users have access to which products within the system.

Creating User Groups

  1. The Admin can Go his/her User Profile > Users

  2. Click the Users tab
  3. Click the  button
  4. Name your Group

  5. Choose whether the Group is Public or Private
    • Private will hide all accounts that belong to users in this Group
  6. Choose the users that belong to this Group
  7. Specify the Product Types in your ASG system the selected users will have access to
  8. Specify the Products in your ASG system that the selected users will have access to
  9. Save your changes
  10. Any time you create a new Product in the system, an Admin needs to go to his/her  User Profile> Users > Groups and make sure that your new Product is toggled to on in all your Groups if you want everyone to have access to it on the frontend. When new products are not toggled to on in this area, it prevents every user who is in the group from seeing the product when building a proposal
