SG - Creating a Paywall Template

Creating templates for the overlay login screen, Subscription, and registration forms for our paywall integration is a breeze. With a few simple clicks, you can brand your templates and apply them to the website in no time at all.

Let’s create a template for our overlay forms we’ll be using on your website through the paywall. For more information on applying these forms, please see our Paywall Integration training tutorial.

First click Paywall on the left-hand side of your screen, and then select template new

now click the new template link

First, we’ll name the template for our records, and choose our level of complexity in the template creation. For this example, we’ll be using the Easy setting. Have someone on your team who is proficient in HTML or CSS? Great! They have the ability to make completely customizable edits to our already created code!

Now it’s time to build the template. First, we’ll choose which of your already created bundle lists will appear on the overlay form of this individual template. Select each of the publications that you prefer, and then save your settings!

Now we’ll give our template a banner image to appear at the top of the overlaid form. Select the edit link, and then choose a file from your computer lot laptop to display for your banner image, now your template is branded just like you want!

Now choose your message to appear when presenting the subscriber with a registration form…… save your settings, and you’re done!

You can now choose to preview your newly created template below. Use the drop-down list to view each form as it will be presented to the subscriber.
