Configure your Lead Time for Auto-Renewal

For Delivery Date and Issue-Based product types, you can enable auto-renewing line items. This feature allows users to build a proposal with a single line item that will then automatically renew based on specified criteria. 

In order to utilize this feature, you must first ensure that your product is configured for auto-renewal. You must then indicate a lead time. 

The Lead Time specifies the system-wide default for how far in advance the auto-renewing line items will be added to the Contract.

For example, in the screenshot below, line items will be automatically added 180 Days before the Delivery Date or Issue Date of that line item.

Follow these steps to configure your lead time:

  1. Click Settings > All Settings using the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Click the General Settings link to manage your account's general settings.

  3. Scroll to the Accounting section and add a lead time to the Auto-Renewing line items field.

  4. Click the Save button when you are satisfied with your lead time.
