Change the Default Template

The default template is a safety net for your system. Designating a default template tells the system which template to use when a contract is not assigned to a template by a sales user. 

Follow these steps to configure the default template setting:

  1. Click Settings > All Settings using the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Click on the General Settings link to see your system's settings.

  3. Click the Default Template drop-down menu found in the Account section at the top of the General Settings page to choose your new default template.

  4. Click the Save button when you are satisfied with your selections.
