      Can I Delete a Contract?

      Due to the amount of historical data that is tied to every contract, Ad Sales Genius does not allow for the deletion of contracts. We keep contracts in the system for archival and historical purposes that are critical for providing functionality throughout the software.

      If you find yourself needing to remove a contract, the best business practice would be to set the contract to Lost or cancel the contract.

      If A Contract Has Not Been Set To Won

      If the contract has not yet been set to Won, you can set it to Lost from the contract details panel.



      If A Contract Has Been Set To Won

      If the contract has been set to won, the best practice would be to remove the line item from the contract. Doing so will essentially cancel the contract completely.

      1. Navigate to the contract in question
      2. Hover your mouse over the line item(s) that you would like to remove
      3. Click the red X to remove the line item from the contract.
