Accounts Overview
The Accounts window is a tool that allows you to see all of the Accounts and Leads in your system. You can sort your clients, view pertinent information about your clients, create new leads, and more directly from this page.
Access Accounts
To access accounts, Click Accounts from the left-hand navigation menu.
Accounts Page Navigation
Here, you will see a list of all of your Accounts. The initial view displays the following information:
- Account - This is the name of the account
- Owned By - The sales representative that is currently working with the account
- Deal - If there is an opportunity status associated with this account. This value is managed on the Deals tab.
- Type - This denotes whether this account is a lead or an account
- Pipeline Status - This determines the status of the account according to the Pipelines that you have set up.
Click on an account to display their details page. Use the Account page to edit details, status, contact information, and more for the account. You can also create notes, follow-ups, and tasks for the account on this page.
You can add and remove columns in this view by clicking the Columns menu and selecting/de-selecting options.
Click the Batch Action button to choose one of several actions for all selected Accounts.
Filter your Accounts
Use the Magnifying Glass tab to create a filter for your Accounts list.
There are several filters at your disposal. Keep in mind that the filter acts as an 'and' relationship, so the more you fill out in this filter, the fewer results you will receive.
Use the Main tab to select common filters such as Active Status, Has Credit Card, Type, and more.
Note: The Has Credit Cards filter only works for Authorize.net accounts.
Use the Sales tab to select common filters such as whether or not this account appeared in a previous issue, if they have a past-due invoice, their opportunity status, and more.
Use the Primary Address and Contact tabs if you want to filter for based on name or location.
