Adding Comments to Invoices

You can configure your invoice templates to show comments on the PDF of your invoices. Please note that the configuration steps below are only accessible to Administrators.

Configuring Your Template for Invoice Comments

1. Click on your Profile Avatar

2. Click on System Settings

3. Click on Templates

Click on Templates

4. Click on Edit under the Invoice Template of your choosing

5. Click on CONTENT

6. Click on the TEXT Icon and Drag it to the area of your template that you'd like the note to appear

7. Click on the Text Box

8. Click on Merge tags

9. Click on Invoice: Comments & Notes

10. Click on SAVE

Adding Comments to Invoices

1. Now that your Template is set up properly, go to Accounting

2. Select View on the Invoice of your choosing

3. Click on Edit

4. Click on the Comments box and enter your comment

Click on the Comments box and enter your comment

5. Click on Save Invoice

6. Your comment will now appear on the PDF of the invoice!
