Add a PO Field to Your Contract and Invoice Templates

In order for your contracts and invoices to display the PO Information, you must ensure that the corresponding templates contain the correct merge tag. 

Follow these steps to add the PO merge tag to your contract templates:

  1. Click Settings > All Settings using the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Click on the Templates link to see your system's templates.

  3. Click the Edit button on the Contract template that you would like to add this merge tag for.

  4. Click the text box where you would like the PO number to be added. Click on the Merge Tag button.

  5. Click on the Contract: Insertion Order Number to add this to your template.

You can also add the following block of code to your template. Doing this will configure your template to only show this field if you have a PO number present on your contract.

You will then repeat the same steps for your invoice template if the invoice also needs to display the PO number..
